Ferdowsi tomb
Ferdowsi Mausoleum is the burial place of Hakim Abolghasem Ferdowsi in Tus.
Ferdowsi tomb has been built and destroyed many times.
The current area of the tomb complex is nearly six hectares and includes the tomb garden, a pool and a statue of Ferdowsi by Abolhasan Sediqi in front of it, a monument, office buildings, a library, a museum, the tomb of Mahdi Akhwan the Third and the tomb of Mohammad Reza Shajarian. The interior architecture of the building also includes tiles, prominent stone motifs from Shahnameh stories and stone inscriptions from Ferdowsi's poems and others.

Ferdowsi Mausoleum Garden cultural complex is located in Tus, 25 kilometers northwest of Mashhad city, between the two villages of Tus Sefali and Islamieh, on a road branching from the Mashhad-Qochan highway, close to the historical city of Tabran and the historical tomb of Haruniyeh. Pazh village is the birthplace of Ferdowsi, 28 km east of Ferdowsi's tomb.
As it is known, Ferdowsi's body was not allowed to the cemetery because he was a Shia, and he was forced to be buried in his own garden located in the city of Tabran Tous, near the eastern gate of Razan. His tomb was a place of pilgrimage for people of knowledge and knowledge, and even though it was razed to the ground many times, it was rebuilt.
