Hegmataneh museum
Hegmatane Museum was opened in 1373 in Haft Tir Square in Hamedan. This museum is open every day of the week except Monday evening. This museum is located in the east of Hagmatane Hill and next to the famous pit of the French. The museum building, which used to be called a nursery school, has been put into operation during changes and repairs to create a temporary museum. The objects of the museum include two special and provincial sections. In the corridor and hall on the right side of the museum, the objects obtained from Hegmataneh are kept.
Hegmatane Museum is one of the most famous and important museums in the country.
Since Hamadan and Hegmataneh are one of the oldest cities in Iran and perhaps the world, the works found in this city are very old.
All kinds of decorative stones and very old beads, heads of stone columns and all kinds of square clay, pottery such as bowls, jars, and pots are gathered in this museum, which attracts the attention of anyone interested in the history of ancient Iran.
The distance between Hegmatane Museum and other important places of Hamedan, including the market, is very short.
