Iran parliament
The building of the Islamic Council is located near Baharestan Square in Tehran and is the venue for the meetings of the Islamic Council. The body of this building is in the shape of a pyramid with a kite base and is made of stone and has been used since 2003.
The first public meeting that was held in this building was the first session of the seventh session of the Islamic Council, which replaced the old building.
This building, which includes public courtyard, corridors, internet room, simultaneous translation room and various electronic departments, has a total area of 25,000 square meters. The architecture of this building has faced many criticisms.
