Toon historical city
The historical town of Toon with an approximate area of 90 hectares is located in south west of Ferdows town and it includes valuable historical mansions since the early years of Islam to Qajar dynasty. This town where is one of the towns of Islam early years in the land of Khorasan played an important role in the economy of the region as it was one of the biggest governmental towns. This historical town is called “The old town ” by Ferdows residents. The name of this town. The name of this town was changed to Ferdows in 1308 (1929).
Toon town was registered as one of the national relics of Iran in May 29th, 1999 with the registration number of 2341.
